I think you have to be careful when talking about the power of the In the right band (above 3000-4000rpm) the car is very quick, but if you run it about just below that band then the car doesn't feel very fast, but that makes it great for pottering around town, and if you want the power drop back a gear or two and off you go.



Thats exactly how I would describe it. Its definetely faster now (2000+ miles) than it was to begin with and it really does do best above 3000rpm. If you drive down a country lane in one gear lower than you should, ducking between corners its as fast as you would ever need without going completely stupid.
